Adjustment of the tooth position by Aligner
What are aligner splints?
The clear Aligner splints are ideal for gentle tooth position corrections and were developed especially for adults. They are suitable for mild to moderate crowding of the anterior teeth.
The splints are based on a step system, whereby each treatment step is achieved by two different splints (double action). The first splint in each case is essential for the actual movement. It consists of a hard-soft material and thus ensures gentle and controlled tooth movement. The second splint stabilises the tooth movement.

For whom are aligners suitable?
This therapy was developed especially for adults. It is an interesting alternative for patients who place a high value on aesthetics during treatment. The splint system can be used for small orthodontic corrections, such as the removal of crowding, the treatment of rotated teeth or the closing of a diastema (gap between two teeth).
How long does the treatment take?
The duration of the treatment is individual and depends on the malposition of the teeth. The classic cases can be treated with three treatment stages, which corresponds to a duration of about 12 weeks.
